Story Session at the Falling Anvil -- Shipwrecks & Spooks
Mon, August 11, 5pm - 8pm
The Falling Anvil Public House, Caledon Tamrannoch
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Caledon%20Tamrannoch/233/113/23/

From "The Wreck of the Hesperus" & "Die Fliegende Hollander" to Captain Jack Sparrow's face-off with Davy Jones, the lore of the sea is replete with tales of haunted, doomed, or sunken & spectacularly wrecked ships. Come join us for tales of ghostly apparitions amidships, strange voices on the quarterdeck (not belonging to the Captain), and St Elmo's Fire playing about the bowsprit.  All sailors, stowaways, saltwater-soaked soothsayers and shivering spirits are welcome, to tell a tale or merely listen spellbound. Sponsored by the Caledon Library and the Clan of Seafarers and Storytellers.

This Story Session is part of the week of events celebrating the last month of Radio Riel's "Shakespeare Summer", focusing on the Bard's spectacular play, "The Tempest". The week will feature themed music programing on Radio's Riel's main stream at  http://music.radioriel.org.  Join us tonight for the Story Session, and again on Saturday night (8-10 pm slt) for a Grand "Tempest" Ball on the Enchanted Isle of Winterfell Libris.
